As of October 25, 2006 the IHC successfully met the challenge to create a $1 Million Endowment for Humanities Education. Thank you to everyone that donated to this worthy cause! IHC's Fund for Humanities Education will support annual summer institutes, workshops, and related programming for Idaho teachers. Your support is a testament to the belief that the humanities will inspire teachers and students for many years to come. Now that our education fund is set, the IHC is seeking donations for general statewide humanities programming support. For over 30 years, IHC has sponsored hundreds of projects and programs to promote understanding of literature, history, law, philosophy, and other humanities disciplines. IHC is one of only a dozen humanities councils in the nation that receives no state appropriation. As a non-profit organization, the Council needs your support. Your tax deductible donation will impact communities, cultural organizations and teachers around the state. How Do I Contribute or Make a Pledge?
