IHC announces a special, two-part web series titled “The Changing Face of Media” held on June 2nd and 14th from 6-7:30PM (MDT). Attendees will have the opportunity to join national and regional journalists for two virtual panel discussions on the changing face of media and the essential role that journalism and the humanities play in creating an informed citizenry.

Both panels are free to attend on Zoom, and will be simulcast in Spanish and American Sign Language.

The second panel on June 14th features a discussion titled “The Changing Face of Media in Idaho.” This panel features Christina Lords, editor-in-chief of the Idaho Capital Sun; Don Day, founder and editor of BoiseDev.com; and Clint Schroeder, Hagadone News Network Regional Publisher. The panelists will discuss how both local media and journalism are currently changing and evolving in the 21st Century.

Participants must register through IHC’s Eventbrite page  to receive a Zoom link 10 minutes prior to the event. There will be a Q and A session as part of each panel, and recordings will be available on IHC’s YouTube channel after broadcast.

These virtual events are made possible with funding from the Mellon Foundation and the Federation of State Humanities Councils.
